GEORGE B. BLACKMAR

GEORGE B. BLACKMAR graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, and received his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1982, where he was a member, author and Comments Editor for the University of San Diego Law Review. Since then, he has practiced law in San Diego, and has handled matters in a variety of areas, including commercial landlord-tenant law, creditor’s rights and bankruptcy, business entity formation and disputes, real property transactions, CEQA and environmental disputes, and land-use and environmental law. Mr. Blackmar has substantial experience in representing clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and before administrative agencies and legislative bodies. He is a member of the San Diego County and American Bar Associations, and the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is “AV Preeminent” rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
